Contacted the Fibre Team at BT again yesterday.
No real progress as yet.
As we have gathered Openreach updates its database that feed into BT Retail and from that BT or any other service provider can order the fibre service for your home.
Until the Openreach database is updated no progress will be made. For may part I have lodged a complaint with bot Openreach and BT and used the tinkbroadband.com site to exert a little more pressure too.
Th lady I spoke with yesterday was very nice and explained that this is not an uncommon issue especially for new build sites etc where people move in and yet Openreach database still show the site as being a field!
She states that when the database is updated, I will receive a text message from BT saying, good news your home line has been upgraded, please contact us to arrange a fibre service! or something similar.
So sit and wait is all they can advise us at the moment.
